Tap tap, is this thing on? Is this blog still working? We’ve got a New Orleans wedding we wanna share.
It’s been so long since we’ve blogged that the actual wordpress platform has changed and I had to relearn how to do this whole thing on the backend.
I think I’ve got it figured out now, so let’s try this again!
Hey everybody! Let’s look at the New Orleans wedding of Meghan and Chris at Race and Religious. They came all from Portland to have their wedding in New Orleans because there isn’t anywhere else like it in the world. If you want the best music, food, and atmosphere in the world then New Orleans should be at the top of your list. And at the top of that list sits Race and Religious. R+R is a completely unique wedding venue the goes against the norm and pretty much breaks every rule of what a wedding venue should be in the best way possible. Meghan and Chris got ready on separate wings of the property but met in the middle for their first look on a balcony overlooking the courtyard where they were married just a little while later. There was an incredible secondline with the Bucktown All Stars right after their ceremony to the park adjacent to R+R where the whole venue emptied out into the street. The rest of the evening was full of food, drinks, dancing, meaningful toasts. Everyone’s wedding is different in some way and Meghan and Chris’s wedding was unique because of who they are as a couple. The freaking sweetest people ever, seriously! We’ve got to give a big shout out to Ashley Brien of Uncommon Camelia for coordinating the wedding and putting all these awesome pieces together. Much love to all of you who read this and we hope you enjoy their wedding through our storytelling✌
