Whitney and Nolan chose to have their New Orleans wedding at the Marigny opera house, and it was amazing! We absolutely loved everything about this wedding, mostly because it was dripping with Lousiana culture. Whitney looked stunning in her simple BHLDN dress, Badgley Mishka shoes, and amazing flower crown by Root Floral Design out of Lafayette. The flower crown wasn’t the only amazing floral component of the day, because Whitney’s bouquet was amazing and the altar was divine lined with simple green trees. After the couple said their vows, everyone cocktailed outside to enjoy the gorgeous weather. once the drinks were served and the sun was setting, everyone went back indoors to eat and Oh My Goodness was it outstanding! Boucherie nailed the cuisine with everything from a whole cooked pig to the best pork rinds we’ve ever had. The shrimp and grits were ridiculously good, the pickled vegetables were even more amazing, and the cochon du lait was out of this world. While the crowd made their way from the serving satin to their tables to dine, The Lost Bayou Ramblers got the party going with the best wedding music of all time. Check them out if you haven’t heard their music, it’s killer.
We had a wonderful time at Whitney and Nolan’s wedding, and we wish them the best in their new married life together!
