When it comes to an intimate New Orleans wedding, Ashley and Brandon did it right. We first met these two at the House of Blues last year for lunch and some drinks, and we totally clicked. Brandon is a cinematographer so we naturally had so much to talk about. So fast forward to their wedding day, they both got ready down the hall from each other at the International House in Downtown. After a short bus ride to the French Quarter, Ashley waited in her private room just behind her ceremony courtyard where she kept peeking out at Brandon waiting for her. It really was a beautiful ceremony!
Once the ceremony finished everyone made their way to Calcasieu which is an incredible space owned by Chef Donald link, which site above Cochon (our favorite restaurant!). The reception was small but no less wonderful. There was so much great conversation, just like when Ashley found a coat check ticket in her fur coat she was wearing. You see she was wearing her late Grandmother’s coat who passed a very long time ago, and the coat check ticket had her grandfather’s name on it. We could here them talking about when it was possibly last worn. There were even some tears shed. Ashley and Brandon were incredible and welcoming. We couldn’t have spent that evening with a better couple!
