It’s Mardi Gras time, the weather is warming up, and we’ve been spending more time outside.
So what does one do on a beautiful afternoon? Grill! Heather knocked it out with some pineapple and cayenne marinated steaks topped with grilled jalapeños from our garden. Then she slow baked thin sliced sweet potatoes with cinnamon, all spice, and black pepper. It wouldn’t be complete with out grape tomatoes tossed in a blue cheese dressing laid on top of an arugula salad that had been tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette. All of this while sipping on a nice pinot noir.
