My husband and I have been following Jamie and Heather’s work for awhile. So, we knew immediately when we started planning that Dark Roux was the right choice for our special day. Between the two of them, we got so many views and perspectives during the entire timeline. The entire album is like a story that we get to relive every time we look at them. Somehow, in all of their shots everything in the background seems to be impeccably placed to create the perfect picture. We love our pictures, we love Dark Roux and we love Jamie and Heather. They have given us such a blessing with all of the beautiful pictures we received.

I have no words! Jamie and Heather were amazing! They were so fun, got all the shots we wanted, have amazing picture quality and an eye for beauty. We were beyond thrilled with our pictures and my parents were thrilled that it only took 1.5 weeks to get our photos up online. My brothers took 6 months from another photographer! AHH! Anyways, THIS IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOUR WEDDING…I PROMISE!!

I am elated with my wedding photos and my experience with Dark Roux. Jamie and Heather are extraordinarily, talented photographers and wonderful people to work with. My photos were absolutely amazing; People even started crying when they saw them. And the best part? We barely noticed they were there. Jamie and Heather were able to capture even our most intimate moments with a ninja like stealth that amazed all who saw the photos. They are completely unobtrusive, while getting every shot you want and even those you don’t even know you want. Jamie and Heather are wonderful in working with family dynamics and do so with the utmost discretion. On top of everything, they work super-fast. I had my engagement photos in a week and my wedding photos in about two. They are wonderful about returning emails, phone calls, etc. in a very timely manner. Overall, Jamie and Heather are the best photographers you can hire, and you certainly won’t be disappointed.

Dark Roux is a talented husband and wife team so you automatically get two photographers. They are professional and so much fun to work with. We have not had any professional photography sessions before, but Jamie and Heather made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They do such an amazing job at capturing the moment. We felt like we relived the wedding day while looking through the photos. My husband and I agree that this was the best decision we made throughout the planning process!

It’s hard to put into words how blessed we were to have Dark Roux for our wedding. Picking our photographers was overwhelming at first, especially since we had two great companies to choose from that were available on our wedding day. I had a great feeling about Dark Roux after our initial conversations, and I’m so glad we went with them! There is soooo much love and emotion and beauty and laughter and tears of joy from our wedding day coming through our photos. I think it’s because Jamie and Heather capture what they have themselves. If you have love, you have an eye for love, if you have joy or laughter, you have a eye for joy and laughter. They have all those things as a couple, so they know how to spot it in their brides and grooms. It’s what made them more special than the other photographers and why we ended up going with them. Sorry that I couldn’t offer more comments about their skills or customer service, etc lol. I was trying to keep this short but I can’t say enough about those things too! I promise you will be hard pressed to find better, more professional, more in-love photographers than Dark Roux!!!

Jamie and Heather of Dark Roux are simply the best!! Besides being super fun to hang out with… they are extremely professional and have an artistic flair that we love! From the very moment we met them for our engagement photo session – we have had a fun, relaxed time with them that was reflected in all of the photos. They captured our true selves and we never felt posed. As a testament to their dedication/professionalism, we had a last minute change of plans on the wedding day and Heather and Jamie were sooo accommodating! They didn’t even flinch at my request for a change of venue and were able to go with the flow right along with our bridal party. My wedding day is over, but I am left with the MOST beautiful pictures that document the day, our guests, the fun and the love that was shared that day. Jamie and Heather are WONDERFUL!! My pictures came out AMAZING! They are so easy to work with, answer emails and phone calls quickly and are the nicest people. They went above and beyond to make us happy and capture everything we wanted. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their style is unique and different, they just know how to perfectly and beautifully capture the most important day in your life! If you want to be 150% satisfied, then you should use them, you wont be let down! They definitely exceeded my expectations.
