One of our favorite venue’s in the city is Latrobe’s on Royal Street. When you think of New Orleans and the French Quarter, certain images come to your mind (wrought iron, gas lamps, antiques, lavish parties). Well Latrobe’s embodies all of this and more. Once the first bank chartered in Louisiana after reconstruction in 1820, has now become one of the city’s premier locations for weddings and special events.
Milli, who spends half of her time in San Francisco and New Orleans, stays busy working full time on the family business “What sets us apart is the building, the history, architecture, the amazing location, and the services we provide. We put an emphasis on our food and the personal attention that we give to each of our clients to make sure that their event is everything they could want.
“We had admired the building for some time and purchased it as a real estate investment. We fell in love and thought it would be nice space to throw a party. Not long after that some others asked if they could use the space for parties. Before we knew it, Latobe’s evolved into an events space. It’s really become something that our family truly loves and feels very passionate about!”
With Latrobe’s located directly between Royal Street and Bourbon Street, no other venue in the city can offer the elegance and experiance of New Orleans quite like Latrobe’s!
